The people behind the bench.
We couldn’t do what we do without our staff. Between them, our reviewers, engineers and director bring decades of hands-on electrical safety testing to every case.
Technical reviewers
Our technical reviewers have a combined 50 years of electrical safety testing experience, with one being a member of the EN 60335 technical committee (TC61) and the other being an international factory auditor with years of experience within the electrical safety testing field. Both have run test laboratories for international well known testing services suppliers.
Test engineers
Test engineers have previously worked within electrical design and production, software and pneumatics industry, which adds to our unique skills capabilities. They have a keen interest in compliance and are always learning and on the ball with updates within the world of electrical product safety. One has a Level 4 BTEC Certificate in electrical/electronic engineering and other related degrees or experience.
Company director
Our company director has a Higher National Certificate in electrical and electronic engineering gained in 1987 and over 32 years’ experience of test and measurement including electrical, electronic, software, fault finding/investigations and has designed and built many automated test systems. He has been audited by UKAS (formerly NAMAS) and British Standards over the years and understands what is required to meet these requirements, he is very familiar with British Standards and has been working in the area relating to Safety and Marketability for over 24 years. He has performed testing and reviewing for many of the UK’s Trading Standards bodies in his current and previous employment.
