We work in partnership with a government laboratory, supporting Trading Standards enforcement teams with our technical skills and knowledge. This collaborative approach supports efficient case handling, reliable testing pathways and clear reporting, so investigations can move forward with confidence and without unnecessary delay.

Our screening checks cover a wide range of British Standards and regulatory requirements relevant to consumer products. This includes standards and legislation associated with General Product Safety, Electrical Equipment, Radio Equipment, the Supply of Machinery and Toys Regulations, helping officers identify whether products appear to meet key safety expectations and whether further examination or enforcement action may be required.

In addition to screening support, we provide detailed fault investigations, hazard identification and technical assessment services across a range of product types. Our capabilities also include specialist testing of lithium-ion cells, batteries and battery systems, such as overcharge testing, capacity testing and related safety evaluations.
